Catching up!

I was trying to recap all the holidays and significant things in my past posts but it seems I can't keep up. I will catch you all up with pictures and hopefully from now on I can keep current.

The twins had a great Christmas and were spoiled rotten by everyone. My house now looks like a toy factory!

For Valentines Day I let the twins eat brownie hearts for breakfast. Quinn loved but Reagan didn't eat hers so Quinn finished it.  I'm sure he was bouncing off the walls at daycare!

On St. Patrick's Day the twins were able to spend the night with their old babysitter, Aimee! They had a great time playing with her kids, Wes and Ellie! When they got home we played outside because it was almost 80 degrees on March 17th this year! How crazy is that!
This is the best I get these days!
The first weekend in April we headed to the Dells for a weekend to go to a water park and spend some time with Matt's cousin Joe, his wife, Meghan and Matt's godson, Jayden.  We all had a great time.  The twins now associate every slide with the water park and they ask to go back all the time.  I'd say the whole trip was a success.  I even got to spend some time at the outlet mall which is almost my favorite place on earth!
Quinn was a little more brave than Reagan on the slides...

but Reagan warmed up and had her fair share of fun!

Testing our the hot tub!

Eating at Moose Jaw and trying to get a decent picture. As you can see not easy!

First time sleeping in hotel beds! The first night was a success but the second was a different story.
I'm pretty sure Quinn was up until 10:30pm!

We ended our stay with a trip to Paul Bunyan's! MMMM!
We spent Easter weekend at home this year with Matt's family and my mom.  It was nice to be able to be home for a holiday.  On Saturday we headed to McDonnell High School for Breakfast with the Easter Bunny and an Easter egg hunt.  Neither wanted anything to do with the Easter Bunny so we moved right along to the bounce house and face painting.  All in all they had a blast.  Of course we picked the Brewers and Packers for our face paintings!

When we got home we colored Easter eggs. Surprisingly the twins did very well and managed to keep the mess to a minimum.

Saturday night the Easter bunny visited our house and hid Easter baskets and eggs!  Everyday for  awhile after Easter Reagan would run to the hiding spot of her basket and double check to make sure the Easter bunny hadn't returned.

Quinn would open one egg and eat it immediately.

Reagan wanted to get through hers as fast as possible and opened them all!
Our Easter pose!
I can't believe they will be 3 so soon!  My babies are growing into independent, sassy, smart, loving kids.

Too bad they weren't this loving to each other all the time!
Can you believe how long Reagan's hari has gotten!

I can only imagine what is in store for these 4!
I'll be back soon with a birthday update!
Thanks for reading!

Tree decorating

This year was the first year that the kids really understand decorating the Christmas tree and they loved it. The bottom half of our tree was littered with ornaments and they both seemed to gravitate to one branch so several areas were cluttered but I couldn't bring myself to change it.

They are so proud of the finished project!

Thanksgiving

I am a little behind in updated this blog to say the least. Since there have been way too many holidays (and pictures) in between the time I last updated and now, I thought i should break them down into different posts. We spent Thanksgiving with Matt's family in Dodgeville. We are so thankful to have healthy kids who are the lights of our life. As you can see from the picture below, Reagan and Quinn were in character and excited to spend time with family!

Quinn really likes fire trucks and comments every time he sees them, etc. so I thought it would be a good idea to take him to the fire station to see the trucks up close and meet the firefighters. Matt's dad is a retired volunteer firefighter for the city of Dodgeville and still has the in so off we went. Well it didn't go as I had planned. Quinn was scared almost the whole time we were there and made me carry him around every where. I tried to get a picture of him on the truck and as you can see he was a little angry. Reagan on the other hand was living it up as always. By the end Quinn finally let his papa show him around and even sat for picture with his sister but on one of the not so scary trucks.

The kids always have fun in Dodgeville and especially like horsing around with their uncle Chris!

I just threw this picture in because I think it's cute. Don't you love how Reagan is staring at the brownie spoon waiting for a lick? That was the only way I could get her to look in the direction of the camera :)

That's all I have for Thanksgiving. Onto the next post - Thanks for checking in!
