Patty Cake & Walking!

Reagan has a slight fever and can't sleep so she is spending some extra quality time with mommy & daddy. For not feeling well she is in very good spirits and is practicing her walking and I finally got it on camera!

Please ignore my singing!

11 months!

I know I am officially the worst blogger in the world! I just can't seem to find time with two 11 month olds constantly at my feet. Can you believe they are already 11 months old and there 1st birthday is only 3 weeks away? It is so surreal to me. Pretty soon my babies won't be babies : (

We all finally got over our sickness from Easter but we are starting again with another round of colds and Quinn has pinkeye. It seems to be a never ending cycle with these two. It hasn't hurt their sleeping at all which is awesome for mom. They usually still sleep from 7 to 6 or 7. Reagan thinks that morning is 5am sometimes but I do not give in and she usually falls back to sleep. I'm sorry but this mom does not function at 5am!

Quinn has picked up Reagan's new tricks and now is able to do "So big" and wave bye-bye. He also tries to clap when we do patty cake but can't quite make his hands meet. He is definitely into music. He will listen so intently to you when you sing to him and then when you stop he will try and sing back to you. It melts my heart every time.

Reagan is closer to walking but not quite there. She is able to stand for a long time on her own and can take about 3 steps before she falls to her knees. She is definitely a little spitfire...I am sure that she is going to get in to a bunch of "trouble" when she is able to walk. I bet I'll be wishing she couldn't walk! Quinn is showing more interest in standing on his own but really hasn't gotten the hang of it yet. He can walk pretty well pushing walking toy but that's about as far as he goes.

Sibling rivalry is still in full force. Quinn will bulldoze Reagan to get to a toy he wants. In return, Reagan will pull his hair or grab his face. Quinn will constantly take Reagan's nuk away and then she screams, takes it back and the cycle restarts. They do play well together too. They like to chase each other. Reagan will start. then stop and scream at Quinn, he will start to follow and just as he gets close enough she takes off. It is so cute!

Oh yeah how could I forget, both have discovered that they have ear piercing screams and like to voice their opinions. I hope this stage is over soon!

They had ice cream for the first (maybe second) time this past weekend and loved it. You wouldn't be able to tell by their pictures but they kept coming back for more and would scream if I walked away.

Here are some more recent pictures. I just can't get enough of these two!

Looking cute as always!

All ready for opening day! Even if they did lose.

So big at 11 months (the best picture I can get of the two of them together!)

Trying out our new big boy/girl car seats. We love them!

That's all for now. I will try and post more often - promise!

Sick

Quinn's had the flu, I've had the flu, Grandma has the flu and poor Reagan is now suffering with the flu. The only lucky one appears to be daddy. Reagan has had a fever since Saturday and woke up this morning at 4 am with it at 103.3 and it hasn't quit all day I can keep it under control with Tylenol but the minute it wears off it comes back.

That's about all I have to say this week! Hope we are feeling better soon so we can enjoy some of this nice weather! Hope you all had a Happy Easter. Even though we were sick, we did!
