So big!

Sorry for not posting anything in a while. Things have been busy around here lately! This week the kids and I went to my best friend, Jenny's house in Winona, MN for a little mini spring break trip. We had a lot of fun! I wish it would have been a little nicer but we made the best of it. The kids do fairly well in the car so the trip there and back wasn't too bad. They enjoyed playing with their friends, Landon and Sawyer. Here are some pictures from our trip.

4 peas in a pod!

We didn't do too much this weekend. Both babies are pretty sick. Runny noses and fevers. I'm hoping it is gone by next weekend so they aren't sick for their first Easter! I'm sad to say that our babies are almost done with their first holidays. I can't believe in 7 weeks our babies will be 1! Where does time go?

Reagan has finally gotten her two front teeth and also has another coming through on the bottom. We no longer have a vampire! She has 7 teeth total. Quinn now has his two top front teeth. He has 4 teeth total. I'm happy to report that both have still been sleeping through the night while teething. During the day they have been pretty needy/crabby but I can handle it as long as I'm getting sleep! All and all I think we are pretty lucky.

Reagan can now do "so big", clap her hands and wave bye-bye. Quinn will listen but doesn't show an interest in following your actions. He is a lot more interested in trying to mimic your sounds. I think he thinks we are pretty silly when we try and get him to clap or throw his hands in the air. Reagan on the other hand is so proud of herself when she does it! Here she is!

Quinn is a lot more mobile. He pulls himself up on everything and anything. He still is a little clumsy and his poor head feels ths pain. It seems every day he bumps his head on something and gets a bruise. Here is a picture of his latest booboo : (

Reagan is now able to stand unassisted for 5 to 10 seconds. She won't walk from me to daddy yet but I don't think it will be long. She just needs a little more confidence. I'm not ready for a walker yet but it is so fun to watch her try! I love all the milestones!

That's all for this week. Have a good week!
Enjoy some more photos of the cutest babies on earth!

I told you they love their bath! They can't wait to get in!

Happy St. Patrick's Day & 10 months!

The twins turned 10 months today and it just happened to be St. Patrick's Day too! We celebrated with a traditional St. Patrick's Day dinner made by Grandma T. The twins enjoyed the potatoes and carrots and even a little taste of dessert.

So handsome!

Waving bye-bye - this is the best picture she will give me lately

What have we been up to?

We have been busy the past two weeks/weekends. I haven't had anytime to sit and write a post. So sorry! Who would think that two 9 month old babies could keep a person busy?

On Saturday morning two weekends ago we set off on a road trip. We went to Madison first to visit Matt's grandma, mom and aunt, then to Jansiville to visit my aunt, uncle and cousins and then onto Dodgeville to spend the night with grandma and grandpa. It was a busy weekend but my family had yet to see the twins and I hadn't seen them in forever either so it was a much needed visit. It was great to see everyone and the twins had a lot of fun meeting their extended family. Grandma and grandpa enjoyed spending time with their grand babies too!

She loves this game and tries to get you to do it all the time! It is a good workout!

This past weekend we had a birthday party to go to for our friends Landon and Sawyer. The twins had a lot of fun! They enjoyed their first taste of birthday cake and were able to play with new people and toys! I got all the boys matching shirts. They all looked so cute together but wouldn't sit still for pictures - we got the best shots we could. I don't have those pictures on my camera so I will have to post them later this week.

During the week we mostly spend our time at home hanging out as a family. On Thursday nights we have Survivor night and spend time with friends. The twins enjoy that and usually get a lot of attention! When we are at home we follow a night time routine pretty closely and it seems to be going well. The twins are so much fun right now and their little personalities are so cute. They truly make us the happiest we have ever been.

Twin update -
Sleeping - both pretty much sleep through the night from 7pm - 6 or 7 am. Occasionally they will wake up in the middle of the night but are able to put themselves back to sleep pretty quickly.
Eating -both love their food. Sometimes I can't get in their mouth fast enough. Both can self feed but we are still eating mostly baby food (less messy). Puffs and cheerios are our favorite right now. The look on their face when you bring out the snacks is priceless.
Crawling - Reagan is a crawling machine and is starting to move fast. We can't take our eyes off her for a second. Quinn is close behind and in the past week has started to "normal" crawl rather than his army crawl all the time. He will still use the army crawl on occasion to get to things faster.
Pulling up/Standing/Walking - Reagan has been pulling herself up for a long time and now can navigate her way around furniture. She can stand for about 3 seconds unassisted before she realizes it and falls to her knees or butt. I think it may have a while before she starts walking but she LOVES to walk while holding on to your fingers. In the past few days Quinn has been able to stand holding onto the couch and is getting a lot more steady. He also is trying to pull himself up and has succeeded once. I don't think it will be long before he is good at it.
Fighting - the sibling rivalry has begun! Well lets just say most of the time Quinn is picking on Reagan. Quinn uses Reagan to sit himself up or pull himself to something that he needs/wants and Reagan absolutely hates it! He is constantly grabbing her clothes and pulling her down and she cries hysterically. They fight over toys occasionally too but usually Quinn takes a toy from Reagan and then she just moves on to the next one. If Reagan takes a toy from Quinn, watch out because a crying fit will begin! They both take each others pacis out of each others mouths all the time. Since Reagan is more of a paci lover she is usually the one that gets angry that Quinn takes hers but she is usually able to get it back quickly and put in back in her mouth for Quinn to take again!
Toys - What toys? Our new favorite thing to do is play in the kitchen. It doesn't matter if everyone is in the living room both babies would rather be in the kitchen playing with the door stop, two buckets that I have on the shelves that are their height, shoes, etc. They love shoes! It seems they love everything but toys!
Talking - Quinn talks more than Reagan but they both love to hear their voices. Reagan has found out that she has a high pitched scream. Quinn is very interested in your mouth and watches how you makes sounds and then tries to copy them himself. It is too cute!
Teeth - Quinn still only has his two bottom teeth. Reagan has her two bottom teeth and what appear to be her two eye teeth on top. We call her our little vampire!

They love bath time!

That's all the pictures for now. We have a busy week this week. Daddy is out of town on business until Wednesday and on Thursday Grandma and Grandpa are coming for the weekend. Both babies are still sick but so far so good on Quinn's ears as he has still been sleeping through the night. I hope they get better soon so we can enjoy some time outside in the nice weather. Have a good week everyone!
