9 MONTHS!

The twins turned 9 months old on Wednesday! We had their 9 month well check on Friday. Here are their stats:

Reagan

Height: 26.18in
Weight: 15lbs 14oz

Quinn

Height: 27.76in
Weight: 18lbs 6oz

Reagan is still our little peanut and Quinn is definitely not starving! They both are doing great developmentally. And the great news is that Quinn's ears were all clear and they didn't have to have shots! They both have come down with pretty bad colds this weekend so we will see how long Quinn's ears stay that way. I hope we don't have to make any unexpected doctor visits this week.

This past week Daddy was out of town for work all week. He came home on Friday and both babies were so excited to see him. I think they really missed their Daddy and so did I!! We had a nice relaxing weekend and didn't do too much. The babies are sick so they needed their rest. Both were very crabby today and went to bed early. Let's hope they can get some good rest tonight and feel better tomorrow.

A Look Back

I know I have said it before but I can't believe our babies are almost 9 months old. I have no idea where the time has gone. I love to look back at old pictures to see how much they have changed. Here is a trip down memory lane:

Sometimes I miss my 5lb babies but I love this stage just as much. Well, except for the fact that I don't get to sit still for a second!

Ears, teeth and walking

Quinn has been fighting an ear infection since December. Daddy took him to the doctor on Sunday because I felt like he wasn't being himself (waking in the middle of the night screaming, unable to put him down, etc.) and sure enough he still has fluid in his ears and they are red. So we are now on our third course of antibiotics since early January. This time the doctor did mention that if this doesn't clear it we may have to take him to see a Ear, Nose and Throat specialist. I feel so bad for our little man. I hope that he gets better soon. We have their 9 month check on the 19th so we should know more then.

On top of the ear infection, both babies are teething and sleep has been difficult to say the least. Reagan has one tooth popping through on top. Not one of her two front teeth but the one next to it. Leave it to Reagan to be different! Quinn does not have any through yet but I hope they come soon so maybe we can be done teething for a few weeks!

Reagan has learned a new trick. At daycare yesterday she began walking while holding onto furniture. I haven't seen it yet but it doesn't surprise me. She always wants to stand up and gets angry if she can't figure out how to. She is definitely ahead of her brother and wouldn't surprise me if she was walking by 10 months. She loves her independence! Look out house and dogs! Poor Ally and Baylor thought that they ruled the house. Just wait until we have two walking (running) toddlers!

This past weekend the twins had professional pictures taken. The pictures turned out beautiful! Our photographer is Mary Moua. She is the best photographer on earth and absolutely amazing! She makes our babies look so adorable! Check the pictures out here.

On the Move

In the past few days Quinn has really started to move! He will army crawl to everything he wants and he gets on his hands and knees and rocks back and forth. He wants to crawl so bad but just can't quite figure it out yet. It won't be long now and we will have two babies on the move! Watch out Mom and Dad!
